Fingerprint has a close-knit team of self-driven editors and designers who are committed to the idea of publishing good books. If you share our philosophy and would like to work with us, give us a shout.

We currently have full-time openings for copy editors who are skilled in the use of English language, have a good sense of grammar and can passionately work towards producing good books.

Senior Editor (One opening)

Should have at least 3-4 years of writing/copy-editing/copywriting experience. Will have to work with authors and manage a team of 2-3 junior editors.
Should have a good command over long-form writing and a discipline for deadlines.

Copy-editor (2 openings)

English literature/mass-communication graduates/post-graduates who are passionate about wordplay and publishing good literature. Must be extremely passionate about reading books. Primary responsibilities will be to read, edit and proofread manuscripts within stipulated deadlines. Other Humanities graduates are also welcome.

Translators

We welcome enquiries from professionals who're keen to translate existing works published by Fingerprint into other languages, or translate compelling works in regional fiction and non-fiction into English.

Photographers

If you're a freelance photographer who'd like to work with us to shoot images for our book-covers, please e-mail us your portfolio. If we like your clicks, we would get back to you.
